Why You Shouldn't Post Your Opinion on Facebook

#1. No one cares. Sorry. But for real.

#2. Your amateur opinion is not going to change anyone's mind. If you care deeply about a certain topic, either they do too and won't be swayed, or they don't and won't ever care. Hence, useless.

#3. Facebook arguments literally bring out the worst in EVERYONE. Have you ever seen a Facebook argument that doesn't end in childish name-calling or deleting the comments/original post? No. Because it's against the rules of physics to have a logical, mature discussion on Facebook.

#4. Having an opinion, whether it's about gun control, gay marriage, or the Twilight series, does not mean you also have to share it or shove it down anyone's throat. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN just have your own private personal opinions.

#5. If you really, truly care about something, you'd be spending your time doing that thing in real life, not Facebooking about it.

Go ahead. Like a Facebook page. Write a blog post. Create an event. Talk to me about it in person. But if you post it regularly as a Facebook status I reserve the right to leave trolling comments and alter my opinion of you.

Also I'm going to buy some of these and use them liberally.

  5. Im glad they dont comment. I posted a serious thoughts I had and someone posted a joke. I got mad. She joked and I went ballistic. Then she said she would be right back. She posted photos if Isis. Hoirible, terrible stuff. I deleted it, then retaliated and it popped back up again, so I had to save what I wrote, delete the thread and re-post. I came to realize that this was planned. I deleted her as a friend, blicked her and reported her. She was from another country. I was so unnerved I went through my friends list and singled out allot of people I did not know from those related countries. The next day one girl a foriener made a meme saying, "Please dont delete me". Then I posted about the Marines and Pres. Obama and a British man joked aboyt the Marines and made racial comments concerning Obama. When I read them I again went ballistic. He later apoligized. Even if he did not, I would have nit deleted him. But I take 80% of my posts seriously and defend them. I consider it intellectual property. I only joke on obvious jokes, send prayers and make relevant comments on my friends posts. For people in other countries sometimes I share girls photos or just give likes or hearts. So when then I finushed pisting on the Marine thread and my American friends read it I got a reference, not a direct comment alluding to bu-polarism from a dear friend and I replied bu-sexual and that was it. If you pkst negative on someones post be prepared for that person my have had a bad day and will come out there face in any uncertain manner.
